Once upon a time, there was a woman named Pauline that married a bar of soap. The soap’s name was Hamilton.
Hamilton was her favorite bar of soap. She used him to clean everything. He was a body soap, hand soap, dishwashing soap, laundry soap, and a soap to clean other soaps.
One day Pauline was doing the dishes. Her kitchen sink was full of water and foam. While she was scrubbing the plates with Hamilton, she felt something around her ring finger. She pulled her hand out of the water.
It was an engagement ring.
Hamilton, the soap wanted to marry her. She raised the soap close to her face and said yes. She kissed that soap. She even shoved Hamilton in her mouth. Her breath smelled of lavender and happiness all day.
Her family, at first, disapproved of her engagement with a bar of soap. They warned her that Hamilton will one day dissolve into a puddle of soap water.
Pauline has owned Hamilton for ten years and he hasn’t changed shape. Hamilton was a big strong manly bar of soap.
