Mornings are magical. The fresh dawn light and promise of a new day fills us with motivation, before the inevitable conflicts and demands of work threaten to drag us down. Wouldn’t it be great if you could bottle up that morning motivation sparkle and sip from it all day long?
Well you actually can! And it takes just 20 minutes a day.
I call it my Morning Magic ritual. It’s how I changed from constantly chasing the next deadline, to feeling energized and on top of each day.
And the best part is, anyone can do it using three simple steps:
Step 1: The Magic List
Keep a notepad by your bed and jot down ANY goals, ideas or tasks that pop into your head first thing in the morning. It takes our brains about 20 minutes after waking to shake off what scientists call “sleep inertia.” So those initial thoughts are usually our subconscious whispering to us about what matters most.
I’ll often wake with random phrases running through my mind like “finish client presentation” or even just “call Mom!” Even if they seem small or silly, write them down. This listing helps activate key parts of your brain linked to…
