Event bubbling, as you learned in the previous article, is the process where an event triggered on a child element “bubbles up” through its parent elements. Event capturing is the opposite, where the event is first captured by the outermost parent element and then propagates down to the target element.

Scenario 1: Excessive event listeners
Imagine you have a large list of items, each with its own event listener. This can quickly become a performance bottleneck, as the browser has to manage and trigger numerous event listeners.
