A Dog Named Goliath
The small dog that keeps failing to remember that he is not a large dog
Meet Goliath, a Yorkshire Terrier that thinks he is a big dog. He lives with an Irish Wolfhound named Teacup. While that sounds odd considering the size contrast between these two dogs, Teacup thinks nothing of her name.
Goliath, on the other hand, thinks he can freely take over the world. Teacup is annoyed by him because he always feels the need to pick on large animals. Many of them ignore him, but many don’t take his aggressive tone too kindly.
After being chased down the road for 2 miles by two Old English Sheepdogs and almost being taken by a giant hawk the size of a Mazda MX-5, Goliath still thinks he is untouchable. He never learns his lessons.
His owner thinks his behavior is cute. One day the owner put Goliath on top of Teacup for a photograph. While the photo did receive many likes on the internet, Teacup was not happy because after the photo was taken, Goliath kept getting on top of Teacup. Goliath’s self-image as a big dog has turned him into an egotistical giant rat.
When Teacup and Goliath get into a fight, it’s not a physical one. Teacup just stands there with a bored look on her face and stares at Goliath while he barks himself to oblivion. In the end, no one wins or loses…
